Pan Light

18th C. Iron pan or cresset lamp meant to be used by sticking in to a beam or any wooden surface, filled with animal fat with a piece of rush or wick for burning.
Small portable size 5" long and 3" pan diameter.
Looks great with small candle stub as photo below shows, feel free to ask for more info or photos.
